What a week! Meeting so many nice people in such a short period of time can be really exhausting but this isn't the end! As a highly motivated sustainable fashion enthusiast I even work on Saturdays! Today I went to a sustainable and circular fashion workshop. Even though I've never been to a real workshop I had quite high expectations. The meeting took place at the office of The Good Garment Collective, an agency, which helps brands to develop sustainable fashion. The pictures are taken from their lovely office in Berlin. The workshops itself was made by Ina Budde, the founder of Design for Circularity.
What did I learn?
The presentation was structured in four main parts:
After Ina introduced herself we talked about the three R's (reduce, reuse &recycle) in the fashion industry and all the impacts of the textile productions. We learned about Cradle to Cradle and discussed different approaches from various brands. The brands which also produce vegan products will be featured on this blog in the next few days. Stay tuned !
Here are some picture of the presented slideshow. On about 190 slides Ina taught us about the circular fashion movement.
Some photos of the Good Garment Office - I am very sorry for the bad quality, silly me forgot the good camera...
